What’s it like working at TSA Group?

    AI summary of recent reviews
Employees at TSA Group appreciate their co-workers, who are supportive and friendly, often being the main reason people remain with the company. The company offers internal career progression opportunities, with higher positions offered to existing employees first. Some employees also value the flexible hybrid roster and occasional perks such as free food.

However, there are some potential challenges. Management and leadership approaches could be improved, with employees noting concerns around support and micromanagement of performance metrics. KPIs are described as challenging to achieve, and training programmes could be better aligned with role requirements. Compensation is mentioned as being lower than comparable roles elsewhere, and the work environment can be demanding with high call volumes and limited flexibility around breaks and scheduling.

Highly micromanaged, toxic workplace culture where KPIs matter more than employees.
The good thingsLiterally literally nothing, not even an exaggeration
The challenges My experience with TSA Group was overwhelmingly negative. The biggest issue is the level of micromanagement. Team Leaders seem obsessed with statistics such as Average Handling Time, After Call Work, talk time, number of calls taken and other KPIs, with the expectation that every metric should somehow be perfect. It often feels less like supporting employees and more like constantly monitoring them to make sure the numbers look good. Even breaks are heavily monitored. When the already-short allocated break time is exceeded, the extra minutes are noticed and monitored. You can feel like you are being watched constantly rather than trusted to do your job. There is also a noticeable amount of workplace gossip and what I found to be a very fake workplace culture. People laughing at jokes that aren't funny, sucking up to higher-ups and putting on a performance to stay in their good books can make the environment feel extremely artificial. Avoid TSA at ALL costs
