What’s it like working at TriCare?

    AI summary of recent reviews
Employees appreciate working with the residents, who are friendly and appreciative, and value their supportive colleagues who work well together. Staff find the work meaningful, with opportunities to make a real difference in residents' lives, and note that teamwork at the facility level is strong amongst carers, nurses and support staff.

However, there are some potential challenges, including management and leadership at head office level where employees feel support and decision-making could be improved, communication across the organisation that could be clearer, staffing levels and resources that can be stretched with high turnover, onboarding and training processes that could be more structured, and workload pressure that can make it challenging to provide comprehensive care within available timeframes.

Good opportunities to contribute, but poor team culture, toxic workplace dynamics, and communication
The good thingsI appreciated the variety of the role, the opportunity to apply my facilities and maintenance experience across multiple sites, and the importance of ensuring safe, well-maintained environments for residents and staff
The challengesI believe there is a significant opportunity to improve staff training, communication and collaboration across the organisation. More structured onboarding, clearer communication channels and better information sharing would help staff understand their responsibilities and feel better supported in their roles. Unfortunately, I found the team environment to be quite toxic at times, with siloed working practices and a lack of positive communication and collaboration. This made it challenging to establish a supportive and productive working environment. I believe greater accountability, stronger leadership, mutual respect and a more positive team culture would make a significant difference to staff morale, teamwork and overall workplace performance.

People made the experience worthy; toxic leadership and outdated tech drove employee away.
The good thingsI had the chance to work with some genuinely great professionals. Team members came and went over that time, but the people I met and connected with were the highlight of my experience there.
The challengesThere's real room for improvement in company culture. In my experience, the high turnover rate is closely tied to leadership style—certain leaders create a difficult, unsupportive environment that pushes people out. I'd also encourage the company to invest more in modern technology and tools to stay competitive. Addressing leadership and culture issues should be a key focus going forward.

    Stay away if you can.
The good thingslet me think about it
The challengesThe company is purely in real estate business and has no consideration of what good cares looks like. all conversations starts from finance and end at what would generate profit. Everyone starting from the Board to the CEO, has no regard for staff. If you are not liked, you will fired without full details of reasoning. There are no staff feedback conducted because staff feedback does not matter.
