What’s it like working at Training Alliance Group?

    AI summary of recent reviews
Employees find the work at Training Alliance Group rewarding and meaningful, particularly in supporting young people and helping participants find employment or training opportunities. Staff appreciate the supportive and collaborative team culture, opportunities for growth and development, and the autonomy to plan their own work.

However, there are some potential challenges, including management style and communication that could be improved, with some noting a focus on metrics. Training and support could be more comprehensive for new staff, and the role can be busy and fast-paced with uneven workloads. High staff turnover has been noted, and communication across sites and performance feedback could be enhanced.

    Rewarding Role, room for improvement
The good thingsThe opportunity to support young people and make a meaningful difference in their lives was one of the most rewarding aspects of the role. I valued the relationships I built with young people, stakeholders and colleagues throughout my time. I gained valuable experience and developed my skills during my time. I also worked alongside some genuinely passionate and supportive colleagues and appreciated the connections I made.
The challengesManagement style, communication and expectations could be improved, alongside greater value for staff and stronger strengths-based and trauma-informed practices to better support clients.
