The facilities are well-regarded, including nice offices and perks such as free refreshments. SunRice is recognised as a business that takes care of its people and provides opportunities for career development.

However, there are some potential challenges, such as inconsistent management with frequent turnover, limited career growth opportunities in some areas, and the demands of shift work including rotating schedules. A good place to work if you can get past the entry level positions and avoid the petty politics.
The good thingsThe pay is good for the region. Expectations are usually quite reasonable. The internal structure is quite sound for the most part.
The challengesTypical small town mentality at both milling sites. Your social integration with the group will be challenging and many people still feel like outsiders after years working at both Leeton and/or Deniliquin. Typical small town cultural experience too. If you aren’t “Aussie” then you should expect the standard ignorances and insensitivities.
