The challengesMy experience at this company was extremely disappointing due to several systemic issues in management. Feedback from leadership was consistently unhelpful—often administrative in nature rather than addressing the legal work I was hired to perform. This resulted in wasted time and little meaningful professional development.The workplace culture was dominated by endless meetings about minor or non‑essential matters, while genuinely important issues that required timely decisions were ignored. This created unnecessary delays and frustration.I also observed power‑driven behavior from management, despite some leaders having significantly less experience than the staff they were supervising. Instead of providing guidance, they frequently engaged in micromanagement.When I raised concerns about burnout and requested a reduction in hours, management initially pretended to be supportive but quickly shifted to threatening a performance management plan.
