What’s it like working at PrecisionScreen?

    AI summary of recent reviews

Employees at PrecisionScreen appreciate the friendly environment and opportunities for overtime. As an Australian manufacturer, staff have the chance to learn valuable skills on the job. However, some potential challenges include meeting tight deadlines, particularly when drawings are outdated, and the need for strong multitasking abilities to manage multiple jobs simultaneously. The disorganized workplace can make locating materials difficult, and there is an expectation of extensive job knowledge, even for new tasks.

Overall, had a fair amount of hours and kept busy, but there were to many issues.
The good thingsLots of hours and kept busy (at least when I was there). The floor staff are nice and easy to get along with (other boilermakers, fitters, laborers ect.). Left alone to work (for the most part).
The challengesExpected to know every single part for every job (even if its the first time you've ever seen the job) and expected to know where all material is when others move things around. Deadlines/time restraints, can be hard to meet especially when having several jobs to do. Working around the needs of other workers ie. 4 guys needing to use the one machine at the same time. Working in an extremely unorganized and messy workplace, can make it very hard to find material.
