MindChamps was founded in Sydney in 1998 – not as a childcare centre, but as an educational research organisation. Our founder, David Chiem, saw that traditional education focused on what children learn, but rarely taught them how to learn. It didn’t nurture confidence, creativity or resilience. And it certainly didn’t help children discover what made them unique. So he set out to build something different. He brought together world- leading experts in education, psychology, neuroscience and the arts – not to tweak the existing system, but to rethink it from the ground up.What started as a research project in Sydney has since grown into a network of early learning centres across Australia

What’s it like working at MindChamps?

    AI summary of recent reviews
Employees value the mission and positive atmosphere at MindChamps, with an open door policy that makes staff approachable and friendly. The supportive co-workers and professional, well-organised environment with clear frameworks are particularly appreciated by educators early in their careers.

However, there are some potential challenges, such as frequent policy changes that can increase workload, kitchen operations that may not fully reflect commercial kitchen experience for chef roles, and salary levels that some employees feel could be more competitive.

If you wanna drop off from hospitality and slow down, go other child cares. They are lot easier.
The good thingsCo-workers were good in my centre.
The challengesThe management consistently changes policies and rules which ALWAYS gives extra work load on your shoulder. [Important for CHEFS!!] Kitchen operations and recipes are designed by the people who has zero experience working in commercial kitchens. So if you are a chef, you'll suffer by lack of their understanding of how running commercial kitchen be like. No one in the head office has decent understanding or experience in hospitality. So all the big bosses will never understand what you think it's normal in the kitchen. Be careful.
