This was one of the most disorganised companies I’ve worked for.
The good thingsShort-Term Experience - The only upside is that it may serve as a basic entry point into the mining industry if you’re simply looking to gain experience, but expectations should be managed.
The challengesMy start date was delayed by five weeks due to their lack of capacity, and my contract was issued incorrectly from the beginning. When I finally started, I was often left to figure things out on my own with little to no guidance or support.
Leadership and communication were poor. Promises around pay increases were made and then walked back, and concerns raised with management were not addressed. There was a clear lack of accountability across the team.
Professionalism was inconsistent, with behaviour and communication at times being dismissed rather than managed appropriately. I was also asked questions that felt inappropriate in relation to my personal circumstances.
I also had concerns around data privacy and access to employee information, which were acknowledged internally but not fully resolved during my time there.
When I left, there were issues with my final pay, which summed up the overall experience.

I left Linkforce in 2021 to try something different, and came back in 2023. Nothing compares to the good team culture and growth opportunity.
The good thingsThe people! An amazing, hard working team. Flexible work conditions between office & working from home. Amazing head office facilities. Lots of opportunity to move around within the business - if you're a hard worker, Linkforce will look after you.
The challengesHigh pressure work, but support is there if you ask for it.
