    Mixed experience but quite disappointing.
The good thingsThe property management team girls are very nice and always helpful. They’re supportive, approachable, and make it easy to ask questions or get help when needed.
The challengesUnfortunately, management has been a significant challenge from my personal experience. The way certain situations were handled did not feel supportive and were very difficult. At times, it didn’t feel like a cohesive team environment, particularly when there is often only one person physically in an office across three locations while most staff work from home. Many meetings and initiatives are run virtually, which can feel dividing and makes it harder to build genuine team connection.

Empowering and positive with lived values and unmatched support.
The good thingsWorking for Leah Jay has been a great experience for me. The team is by far the best I have worked with, support and flexibility is second to none and there is a genuine care not only for clients and ensuring we are supported in our roles but also for our wellbeing and growth as individuals. The Executive team are approachable, lead by example, are transparent with decisions, provide & encourage frequent opportunities for feedback and suggestions from the team with curiosity for better ways, and are strongly committed to ensuring opportunity for growth and progression, for those striving for this. Leah Jay lives and breathes their values. This is reflected in the day to day operation, effective structures and processes & the high rate of retention for long term staff, particularly when compared against industry averages. Over the many years I have been a part of this team, Leah Jay has consistently shown alignment to their values and the why they do what they do. There is no better.
The challengesChanging industry landscape, industry challenges, Property management can be a really difficult role but with a fantastic team and all of the support units within Leah Jay with high levels of experience backing and mentoring you, you never deal with the challenges alone.

A genuine team with ample opportunity for growth!
The good thingsLeahJay foster a set of values that truly align with someone wanting growth in the industry. The internal culture is supportive and fun! Leadership are approachable and genuine, and there is a strong focus around independent growth. Extensive amount of internal career progression and opportunity. You genuinely feel valued when a part of the team, no matter your position.
The challengesA challenge for me was joining a larger team than what I was used too. I've only ever worked in smaller Agencies, and wasn't sure how a larger team would be managed. I found that the internal team collaboration is high and everyone genuinely gets along and shares the same values. There are three offices and each office reflect the same values and atmosphere. Leadership is grounded and approachable and I found really want what's best for you. It's a great team to be apart of.
