What’s it like working at Intermain?

    AI summary of recent reviews

Employees at Intermain appreciate the positive company culture, with staff events, parties, and meetings to discuss workplace improvements. They also value the great people and support within the company, as well as the modern office area and project diversity. Some employees feel that the company is well managed and organised.

However, there are some potential challenges, such as an expectation to work more than full-time hours, making it challenging to balance work and life. There is also a perception that career development and promotions may depend on relationships with important managers, rather than being based solely on merit. Additionally, some employees feel that there is a need for more experienced site staff to balance the top-heavy management structure, and that there could be a more continuous flow of work to maintain a consistent workload.

Apart from the overtime it was one of the best jobs I've ever had. It improved myself, my skills and my confidence. I just hated Sydney.
The good thingsOccasional staff day outs for food and events. They go all out for Christmas parties with something new each year. Monthly meeting to organise and chat about how the work place can be improved.
The challengesYou are kind of expected to work more than your full time hours. If I didn't hate Sydney so much I would have stayed.
