Not worth the stress. Avoid.
The good thingsThe only good thing is the people who are suffering with you.
The challengesNo direction from management, poor communication, outdated technology, assets and procedures (if any). This business is fundamentally understaffed and cant replace the amount of people leaving so if you are unfortunate enough to stay, you will eventually be doing at least 3 peoples jobs. No dedication to change management for the better. So much knowledge loss from people leaving, I'm amazed this business runs at all. All senior leaders work well into the evening, and this global company doesn't seem to understand Australian laws and the right to disconnect. It's become so normal to work outside of hours, that nobody registers it as a red flag. Profits over people as others have said is dead on.

Fun with the people that I worked directly with, frustrating dealing with the people that were supposed decision makers.
The good thingsThe people on the floor are great. Good camaraderie and banter. Everyone I worked with wanted to get the job done well and to the best of their ability.
The challengesAccounts payable didn’t always keep up causing supply issues to honour contracts. Management always seemed to have their head in the sand and lacked any clear direction. This lead to a culture of profit over people.

I really enjoyed my time at EnerMech i saw it grow from a family owned business into a major corporate business. My only observation would be alignment between teams at management level needs improvement
