Management is What really kills something that could be so great.
The good thingsIt’s fun when you are out on the bridge, away from everything in the building
The challengesThe management is absolutely horrible. The coordinators who are supposed to look out for you and be there for you, most are nothing but cruel and nasty. at the end of the day the company only cares about money, which is hilarious because you are getting paid so little for what you do.

Deceived and used by management. No penalty rates and they go out of their way to ensure you can’t pick up to many hours.
The good thingsThe first day you get your free climb and everyone is still nice
The challengesNO PENALTY RATE. Management are deceitful

A unique job that will make you step out of your comfort zone every now and then, amazing views and you get to meet so many different people but horrible management, a useless annual leave system for climb leaders and very little care for the health and wellness of staff
The good thingsGood amount of hours and the time goes by quickly. Fun can be had in the job in all weathers, day times and group sizes
The challengesManagers value money over their staff. You're made to feel guilty when calling in sick or injured, they've started mass hiring people with low to no work ethic causing everyone to be out of time and frustrated and it isn't easy to get annual leave approved even with months prior notice
