Good for a first job, very little pay for the work you do.
The good thingsThe management and team leaders are great and has a very positive and friendly team environment to be apart of. Hires with no past experience and is flexible for those in high school. A lot of on-the-job training that is beneficial for future roles.
The challengesNot enough pay for the amount of work you do. Having to supervise hundreds of kids and do first aid almost every other day, the pay is very little. Much is expected from you and most of the time customers can be very rude from venues being sold out etc. A very busy and fast paced environment.

A great way to make friends as a young person but not a good job for people not in high school.
The good things- Other young people to work with
- Hires with no experience
- On the job cafe training
The challenges- Respect between hosts and managers
- managers realise that it's mainly kids who work there and work is not normally our number 1 priority
- the contract is an Enterprise agreement with the Australian government, so some workers' rights are taken away, such as them being able to pay less, etc.

The good thingsfun environment - co-hosts are fun to talk to and are nice and genuine people
The challengesfor the work that is expected, the pay is not enough, especially when in certain areas you have to take care of dozens of children in one big area with only you in that area to be supervising.
