A genuinely supportive team with opportunities to grow.
The good thingsI've enjoyed being part of a family-owned Australian business where everyone knows each other and works together. Management is approachable, supportive and genuinely listens to new ideas. There are plenty of opportunities to learn and grow, with a variety of work rather than being confined to one role. The team is down-to-earth, friendly and supportive, and people who work hard are recognised. It's rewarding to be part of a business designing, manufacturing and installing Australian-made products. After more than 20 years in the workforce, I can honestly say this is the happiest place I've worked.
The challengesThe business is still quite paper-based and has some old-school processes that could benefit from further digitisation. Part of my role has been helping modernise systems and improve efficiencies, and it's been rewarding to see those positive changes being implemented.
