Too much going on and not enough people to do it. Some great people are trying hard but for what?
The good thingsTheres been some quality management come into the warehouse in the last 6 months or so, where people are starting to really show care for us as workers and address our concerns openly. The supervisors have been really helpful and are "real" because they have done the work themselves without much guidance in the past. The new Warehouse Manager / Ops Manager is excellent and she works really hard and is really practical.
The challengesThere just seems to be too much happening all the time. The warehouse needs serious upgrades and the safety issues are increasing to the point where people are worried. There is a new warehouse being built somewhere that we are meant to move into but we dont know if we will have jobs or not because there is a lot of rumour of robotics and automation. we have so many people coming and going because the pay is really low, i think we are on the mimimum wage and we dont get reviews unless the government enforces it so that tells us all that management dont care about us at all or the cost of living.

The work stress wasn't good with my health and i couldnt do both anymore. They want all of you.
The good thingsThe people were great, i made a lot of friends when working here, everyone was eager to help with work when it was needed too which made not knowing things not such a big deal because someone was there to lend a hand.
The challengesWorking until midnight to get quotes to big clients that needed it next day. Too much pressure to have quotes and bids sent out basically a day before the request came in, and if you didnt then you were behind in the work load.
