What’s it like working at ANZCA?

    AI summary of recent reviews
Employees appreciate the pleasant office environment, including the heritage-listed building and garden, as well as the friendly and welcoming culture with dedicated colleagues and helpful fellows. The salary packaging is highlighted as an excellent benefit, and work/life balance is good with paid leave between Christmas and New Year. Staff members find the work interesting and challenging, with opportunities to interact with medical professionals and contribute beyond their core responsibilities. ANZCA maintains high-quality standards, processes and technology compared to other medical colleges.

However, there are some potential challenges, such as a traditional management style with limited flexibility around working from home arrangements. The complex committee structures and structured nature of the organisation require dedication and a willingness to work within established frameworks. Some employees have indicated that recognition and appreciation of staff contributions could be improved, along with enhanced transparency and support from management.

Happy at first and so disappointed and rejected, for what?
The good thingsit was a fairy tale to me at first, gradually became hell because of management, ending up to resigning due to not being appreciated there, with no recognition of what I had contributed to in my time there, it's all about favouritism.
The challengesthis place should be about saving human lives not focusing on power and who is the best, look after your people, that's all
