What’s it like working at AAco?

    AI summary of recent reviews

Employees at AAco value the great training opportunities offered and the social environment that allows them to attend events. They feel supported in career progression and appreciate their good colleagues. The company also provides flexible work arrangements.

However, there are some potential challenges, such as a perceived lack of support from higher management and cultural issues the business has faced, although efforts are being made to address the latter. Some areas may be lacking in resources or modern systems, and certain roles involve physically demanding work with early starts and challenging environments.

Once you go to the channel country, you’ll always want to go back.
The good thingsGreat company for a young ringer to work for, as long as you’re working for a good manager. Great training opportunities throughout the year and most places are very social and get to plenty of drafts, rodeos, races etc.
The challengesFurther up I progressed, the more I realised there can be a lack of support from higher up. A lot of the good managers have gone now, and young and inexperienced staff are being pushed into leadership roles too early and either being set up to fail or have their team members hurt at work.

The good thingsGenuinely supported in career progression if you put in the work to prove yourself. Management are genuinely invested in addressing the cultural challenges that the business has faced over the years and are making some good headway.
The challengesNo company is without its challenges - growing pains are evident from a lot of positive change. However, Management and the Executive seem to be working hard at improving this.
