FIFO/DIDO Trade Assistants

Twomeys Mining Engineering is seeking experienced Boilermakers, Mechanical Fitters and Trade Assistants for an upcoming structural and mechanical installation project in Western Australia.

The project involves the removal, modification and installation of structural steelwork, launders, draft pipework, access platforms and mechanical screening assemblies.

Positions Available

Trade Assistants – 6 Positions

·         Assisting tradespeople with demolition, fabrication and installation activities.

·         Operating power tools, material preparation and equipment handling.

·         General site preparation, lifting assistance and housekeeping.

Project Details

Mobilisation Date: 1 December 2026

Initial Duration: Approximately 4 weeks onsite, with a scheduled Christmas break

Additional Work: Potential for a further 2–3 months of work following the initial project

Shift Arrangements: Dayshift and nightshift positions available

FIFO: From Perth

DIDO: From Geraldton

Requirements

·         Previous mining construction or shutdown experience preferred.

·         Relevant trade qualifications for Boilermakers and Mechanical Fitters.

·         Current Working at Heights and Confined Space Entry tickets are mandatory.

·         Ability to pass pre-employment medical and site mobilisation requirements.

·         Strong commitment to workplace safety and teamwork.
