Inventory Controller

If you’re looking for an exciting role with a secure company – one that values balance as much as hard work – then this might be the opportunity for you. Bidfood Richlands is seeking a detail-focused Inventory Controller to take charge of stock integrity and quality assurance at our busy warehouse.

This is a Monday to Friday position that suits someone who enjoys having their weekends free, whether that’s for family, kids, sport or simply time to themselves. With career development opportunities and the backing of Australia’s leading foodservice distributor, this is a chance to build something long-term.

About the role

As Inventory Controller, you’ll be responsible for managing the accuracy, movement and quality of stock in our warehouse. This includes monitoring out-of-stocks, handling recalls, investigating variances and coordinating claims with suppliers. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring our customers always receive the right products, in the right condition, at the right time.

Day-to-day, you’ll:

  • Monitor stock levels and investigate discrepancies or variances

  • Oversee product recalls and quality assurance checks

  • Manage bin allocations and stock adjustments

  • Process and resolve supplier claims

  • Support the Operations Manager with inventory-related reporting and compliance

About you

This role could suit a range of people. Maybe you’ve just finished school and are ready to kick off your career. Maybe you’re returning to the workforce after raising a family and want a job that fits with life outside of work. Or maybe you’re simply looking for a hands-on role that keeps you active and on your feet.

Whoever you are, you’re someone who likes order and accuracy. You notice when things don’t line up- and you enjoy solving problems until they’re put right. You’re organised, practical and not afraid to roll up your sleeves in a warehouse environment when needed. Most of all, you’re looking for stability – a Monday to Friday job with weekends free, backed by a company that can offer a secure future.
