Experienced Painters - Bowen Basin

LMP Project Services is currently seeking Experienced Painters to join our growing team across projects in the Bowen Basin.

We are offering both 5/2 and 7/7 roster options, providing flexibility to suit your lifestyle while working on major mining and industrial projects. DIDO Based Roles Only.

About the Role

Reporting to the Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for carrying out surface preparation, protective coatings application, and general painting works across mining and industrial environments while maintaining the highest safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Internal and external painting of residential properties

• Surface preparation including sanding, patching, filling, and priming

• Brush, roller, and spray-painting applications

• Colour matching and finishing work

• Application of protective coatings and industrial paint systems

• Inspection and maintenance painting works

• Working safely in accordance with site and project requirements

• Completing quality assurance documentation as required

• Maintaining equipment and work areas to a high standard

• Contributing to a positive safety culture on site

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience as an Industrial or Commercial Painter

• Trade Certificate - Painter and Decorating

• Current Driver's Licence

• Construction White Card

• Coal Board Medical (desirable)

• Standard 11 Induction (desirable)

• Working at Heights, Confined Space and Gas Test Atmosphere tickets (desirable)

• High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
