Boilermaker / Welder
We’re currently seeking Construction Boilermaker Welders to join our PDP2 project at Port Hedland – Finucane Island, on a 2:1 roster for 18 months with start dates to go ASAP and throughout the rest of 2026.
This is a great opportunity to be part of a high-performing team on, with a reputable client in the Pilbara region. We are looking for safety-focused, reliable, and skilled tradespeople who are committed to delivering quality and seeing projects through from commencement to completion.
- Attractive All-Purpose Permanent Rate: $53.11
- Penalties apply after ordinary hours
- Site Allowance: $4.50 per hour flat
- Mobilisation payment: 2 days (14.4 hours) paid at ordinary rate of pay - one off payment
- 12-hour shifts
- RDO accrual 0.8hr p/day Mon-Fri (4 hour p/week) accrued at ordinary rate of pay (not overtime rates paid out on termination of employment OR can be requested to cash out)
- Project Superannuation Contribution - $100 per completed week of service on top of super guarantee, available to be cashed out at the end of the project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out fabrication, fitting and welding of structural steel and construction components.
- Perform high-quality MIG, Stick and FCAW welding in line with site and quality requirements.
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively to cut, grind, shape and prepare materials.
- Work closely with supervisors, riggers, crane crews and other trades to meet project deadlines.
- Complete repairs, modifications and installation of steelwork and associated infrastructure.
- 2-years of relevant experience on a construction site
- Proof of Right to Work in Australia
