Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Technician & Apprentice

NRS Refrigeration is a well-established, family-owned air conditioning and refrigeration company based in Wangara. We service domestic, commercial, and industrial clients across the Perth metro area.

 Due to ongoing growth, we are looking for two new team members to join our growing team:

• Qualified Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Technician

• 1st, 2nd, or 3rd Year Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Apprentice

Both positions are full-time and offer a variety of work across service, maintenance, repairs, and installations.

Qualified Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Technician

We are looking for a skilled and reliable technician who takes pride in their work and can work confidently both independently and as part of a team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing refrigeration and HVAC systems

• Carrying out service, maintenance, and repairs

• Attending breakdowns across a variety of domestic, commercial, and industrial sites

• Completing accurate job notes, service reports, and records

• Providing professional customer service

• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with regulations

 To be successful, you will have:

• Certificate III in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a service technician

• Restricted Electrical Licence

• ARCtick Refrigerant Handling Licence

• Current C Class Driver's Licence

• Current White Card

• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills

• Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively

Apprentice

We are looking for a 1st, 2nd or 3rd Year Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Apprentice who is reliable, hardworking, and genuinely interested in building a career in the industry.

You will work alongside experienced technicians while developing your skills in:

• Service, maintenance, repairs, and installations

• Diagnosing and fault-finding HVAC and refrigeration systems

• Technical problem-solving

• Customer service and communication

• Safe work practices
