Project / Site Engineer | Main Contractor

GN Construction is a well-established Main Contractor which specialises in the delivery of large, complex and challenging projects throughout Auckland. We have a demonstrated track record of delivering high quality projects across various sectors for reputable developers.

Due to consistent and steady growth, we need to recruit an additional Site Engineer to join our team. We specialise in the delivery of construction projects across commercial, residential, aged care and industrial sectors. These projects typically range between $10million and $100million in value.

The role of Site Engineer

The role involves:

• Site Supervision and Subcontractor Management;

• Status construction programme;

• Quality Assurance;

• Preparation of reports and reporting to the Project Manager;

• Manage & updating registers;

• H&S Management;

• Communicating with clients, subcontractors and staff;
   

Location and Hours

Head office is in Parnell, Auckland with project sites around the Auckland region. Hours are 7am-5pm Monday to Friday. 

About you

You must have either a relevant degree level qualification, or at least 2-3 years of relevant experience. A solid understanding of relevant legislation and industry compliance standards and competent in MS Office Suite is desirable.

You must also have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, a sound work ethic, think outside the box, and be self-motivated.  A Site Engineer needs to have attention to detail.
