AI Cloud Engineer, EL1
The AI Cloud Engineer provides technical leadership and specialist advice in the design, development, deployment and operation of artificial intelligence solutions within secure cloud environments. The role works across software engineering, cloud engineering, data engineering, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and machine learning disciplines to deliver scalable, secure and reliable AI-enabled services.
Working under limited direction, the role leads complex technical activities, contributes to strategic technology decisions and provides expert guidance on AI technologies, cloud platforms, automation, security and operational resilience. The role works closely with multidisciplinary teams and business stakeholders to deliver digital solutions aligned with agency priorities. The role exercises a considerable degree of independence, provides leadership across technical initiatives and contributes to the ongoing advancement of cloud and AI capabilities within the agency.
Work arrangement: This vacancy has been advertised as "Hybrid" to align with the available options in the SEEK advertising platform. At Services Australia, flexible work arrangements are available and are considered in accordance with business needs, operational requirements and the Enterprise Agreement.
