The purpose of this role is to support the development and implementation of workforce attraction initiatives to advance workforce readiness for Coomera Hospital.

The Role

An opportunity has become available for a Project Advisor (Workforce Attraction) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 14 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.

You will

  • Assist in the development, implementation and evaluation of workforce attraction initiatives that support Coomera Hospital workforce readiness
  • Provide advice and support in the development of attraction strategies, attraction campaigns, recruitment marketing activities and candidate engagement initiatives
  • Support the development and improvement of the Careers at Gold Coast Health website, ensuring content and user experiences are engaging and accessible
  • Effectively plan, monitor, track and report on project activities to ensure milestones, deliverables, risks, issues and dependencies are appropriately managed

About you

To be successful in this position you will require:

  • Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
  • Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)
  • While not mandatory, a relevant qualification would be well regarded

Salary

  • Temporary full time (up to six months, with the possibility of extension)
  • Base salary ranging from $4,292.70 - $4,670.60 per fortnight

About Us

This role sits within a dedicated Coomera Hospital Workforce Project team established to support workforce readiness for the commissioning and opening of the new facility. The team works in close partnership with the broader infrastructure and commissioning project streams, as well as key Human Resource functions including Learning and Development, Workforce Planning, Talent Acquisition and Workforce Policy and Performance.

The position reports through the Workforce Strategy and Culture team, which leads organisation-wide workforce planning, capability and culture initiatives across Gold Coast Health. This ensures alignment between local Coomera workforce readiness activities and the broader strategic workforce priorities of the Health Service.
