Hire Controller / Customer Service Officer - Rocklea

Flexihire is currently seeking to appoint a dynamic and motivated person to join the team in our established Rocklea branch. You will be part of a growing team with local support branches and a total of 17 other branches throughout the state.

About the role:

• Provide exceptional customer service to all internal and external customers.

• Generate quotes, provide pricing and availability to clients and make booking of hire equipment.

• Support a culture of upselling at every opportunity.

• Co-ordinate deliveries and pick ups.

• Learn about machinery from small hand tools to large compaction rollers & more.

• Co-ordinating, assisting and liaising with mechanics in the workshop.

• Introduction into a growing career opportunity.

• Assisting customers with loading and unloading equipment as well as the occasional delivery to customer sites as well as yard work as required

• Typical hours are 7am - 5pm Monday to Friday

The key skills required for this role include:

• Previous Hire Controlling or Hire industry experience very highly regarded.

• Sound written and strong verbal communication skills

• A proven ability to be adaptable to changing priorities and work conditions including the ability to both work as part of a team and to work autonomously to complete tasks within required timeframes.

• Sound experience with IT applications including Microsoft suite.

• Time management skills including the ability to plan ahead and reschedule in accordance with changes in priorities.

• Ability to run reports, audit documentation and adhere to procedures

• Physically fit
