Heal at Home is looking for an organised, approachable and proactive People & Culture Coordinator to support our growing national team across South Australia, Western Australia, Queensland, Victoria and New South Wales.
This is a hands-on generalist role for someone who enjoys variety, builds positive relationships and knows that a great employee experience helps create better outcomes for clients. You will coordinate the day-to-day people processes that keep our workforce supported, compliant and connected—from recruitment and onboarding through to employee records, training coordination and workplace culture initiatives.

About the role
Working closely with the leadership team and managers across five states, you will coordinate consistent, practical and responsive people and culture support throughout the employee lifecycle. You will help create a connected employee experience while responding to the operational and compliance needs of our teams in different locations.
Your responsibilities will include:
Coordinating recruitment activities, including job advertisements, candidate communication, interviews and pre-employment checks
Preparing employment documentation and coordinating smooth, welcoming onboarding and offboarding
Maintaining accurate and confidential employee records, HR systems and compliance registers
Monitoring mandatory checks, licences, registrations, training and credential expiry dates
Coordinating state-specific employment, screening and compliance requirements across SA, WA, QLD, VIC and NSW
Responding to day-to-day employee and manager queries in a professional and timely manner
Supporting probation reviews, performance processes and employee development activities
Coordinating induction, training and staff engagement initiatives
Assisting with HR policies, procedures, letters, reports and continuous-improvement projects
Supporting workforce planning, rostering or payroll administration where required
Helping build a positive, inclusive and high-performing workplace culture
About you
You are warm, dependable and highly organised, with sound judgement and a genuine interest in people. You can manage competing priorities, communicate confidently with employees at all levels and handle sensitive information with discretion.
You will ideally bring:
Qualifications in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
Previous experience in an HR, People & Culture, recruitment or workforce coordination role
Good working knowledge of Australian employment practices and the Fair Work framework
The ability to interpret and coordinate varying workforce requirements across multiple Australian states
Strong written communication, administration and attention to detail
Confidence using Microsoft Office and HR, payroll or rostering systems
The ability to work independently, follow through on commitments and identify practical improvements
A collaborative, service-focused approach and alignment with our commitment to person-centred care
Experience in healthcare, disability services, aged care, community services or another regulated workforce environment will be highly regarded.
