Allied Health Team Leader
Mornington Peninsula | Private Mental Health | Leadership + Clinical Impact
Lead allied health at a service built for what mental health care should be.
Avive Health is looking for an experienced Allied Health Team Leader to join our Mornington Peninsula team in Mount Eliza.
This is not a sit-behind-a-desk leadership role.
You will lead a multidisciplinary allied health team, stay connected to clinical care and play a key role in shaping how services are delivered across inpatient and day programs.
If you are a strong clinician who is ready to lead people, influence service delivery and have a genuine voice in how care evolves, this is an opportunity worth looking at.
Why Avive?
Avive Health is a clinician-led private mental health provider delivering contemporary, integrated care in purpose-built environments.
At Mornington Peninsula, you will join an established private mental health service with a strong multidisciplinary team, growing referral pathways and a clear focus on high-quality, person-centred care.
You will have the opportunity to make an impact, not simply maintain the status quo.
What you will do
Lead, mentor and develop the Allied Health Team
Oversee day-to-day team operations, workloads and rosters
Facilitate group programs and remain connected to clinical care
Support patient flow across inpatient and day programs
Work closely with psychiatrists, nursing and multidisciplinary teams
Coordinate referrals and allied health service delivery
Contribute to quality improvement, accreditation and clinical governance
Help shape a strong, collaborative and high-performing team culture
What we are looking for
You will be an experienced allied health clinician with:
Qualifications in Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Social Work or another relevant allied health discipline
Current AHPRA registration, AASW membership or equivalent
Experience leading clinicians within mental health or healthcare
Strong clinical assessment and group facilitation capability
Confidence leading people, conversations and day-to-day service delivery
A practical, collaborative and patient-focused leadership style
Why this role?
Because good clinical leadership should have real influence.
This role gives you the opportunity to lead a team, stay close to care and help shape the way allied health services are delivered on the Mornington Peninsula.
Ready for your next leadership move?
Join Avive Health and help build the kind of mental health service clinicians want to work in and patients want to access.
