Senior Legal Assistant – Wills and Estates Team

The Opportunity

Irdi Legal is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Legal Assistant to join our Wills and Estates team in Leederville. The Role

Working closely with our lawyers, you will provide critical support in managing the intricate needs of our diverse, high-net-worth clients.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the preparation, drafting and formatting of sophisticated Wills, Enduring Powers of Attorney and complex testamentary trusts.

  • Supporting comprehensive Estate Administration matters, including the preparation and lodging of Probate applications.

  • Coordinating and liaising with clients and key referring organisations to ensure smooth and empathetic matter management.

  • Handling file opening, closing, data entry, monthly billing and general high-level administrative duties.

  • Utilising our document automation and management systems to maintain highly efficient workflows.

About You

To succeed in this senior support role, our ideal candidate will possess:

  • Substantial previous experience as a Legal Assistant/Secretary, with a strong, demonstrated background in Wills and Estate Administration.

  • Exceptional proficiency in MS Office (particularly Word and Outlook), featuring fast, accurate typing and a meticulous eye for formatting and detail.

  • Outstanding organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple files and tasks autonomously.

  • A proactive, initiative-driven approach to premium client care and communication.
