We are looking for an experienced Field Service Technician with strong electrical and mechanical skills to join our growing team.
In this role, you will attend customer sites throughout Melbourne to install, diagnose, service, maintain and repair commercial kitchen equipment while delivering professional and reliable customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Install, commission, service and repair commercial kitchen equipment.
Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults efficiently.
Carry out preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing.
Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and complete repairs.
Replace faulty electrical and mechanical components and spare parts.
Test equipment following servicing, repairs and installation to ensure safe and reliable operation.
Read and interpret wiring diagrams, technical manuals and manufacturer documentation.
Identify required spare parts and recommend appropriate repair solutions.
Complete service reports and job documentation accurately.
Provide professional customer service while attending customer sites.
Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with Australian Standards, manufacturer requirements and workplace safety procedures.

Essential Requirements
Proven experience servicing, repairing and maintaining commercial kitchen or catering equipment.
Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
Experience diagnosing equipment breakdowns and carrying out repairs.
Experience replacing electrical and mechanical components and spare parts.
Experience working with heating elements, motors, pumps, contactors, relays, thermostats, sensors, switches and control systems.
Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Current Australian Driver Licence.
Valid Australian working rights.
Desirable
Victorian A-Grade Electrical Licence.
Restricted Electrical Worker's Licence (REL).
Experience installing and commissioning commercial kitchen equipment.
Previous experience as a Field Service Technician, Commercial Kitchen Equipment Technician, Commercial Kitchen Service Technician, Appliance Technician or Catering Equipment Technician.
Commercial refrigeration experience or relevant qualifications.
Gasfitting qualifications.
White Card.
