HVAC Project Manager - Newcastle

A well-established mechanical services contractor with a 40+ year history delivering commercial HVAC and mechanical projects across NSW is looking for an experienced HVAC Project Manager to join their growing Newcastle team.

This business has built a strong reputation across commercial, healthcare, education, and government sectors, and currently has a strong pipeline of healthcare projects on the books — making this an ideal opportunity for a PM with hospital or medical facility experience.

The Role

• Manage the delivery of commercial HVAC/mechanical projects from award through to handover, with a particular focus on healthcare facilities
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to spec
• Liaise with head contractors, consultants, and client representatives throughout the project lifecycle
• Manage programming, procurement, variations, and project documentation
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and site-specific healthcare requirements (infection control, after-hours works, etc.)
• Drive a strong safety culture across all sites

About You

• Proven experience as a Project Manager within commercial HVAC/mechanical services
• Healthcare project experience highly regarded — hospitals, aged care, or medical facilities
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, contracts, and construction programming
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Based in or willing to be based in Newcastle, with the flexibility to travel to sites as required
