Production Machine Operator | $34hr | Immediate Start

We are currently seeking an experienced Production Worker / Machine Operator to join a busy manufacturing operation based at Brisbane Airport.

You will be working with tiles and stone products, operating machinery, completing manual handling tasks and ensuring finished products meet the required quality standards.

This role will suit someone who is physically fit, reliable, safety conscious and comfortable working at a steady pace.

WHAT'S ON OFFER

• Ongoing Monday to Friday work

• Day shift: 6:00am – 2:06pm

• Brisbane Airport location

• Opportunity for ongoing work

• Work within an experienced production team

ABOUT THE ROLE

Your responsibilities will include:

• Operating production machinery and equipment

• Cutting, shaping and finishing tiles and stone products

• Using measuring and cutting equipment safely and accurately

• Handling tiles and materials weighing up to 23kg

• Loading, moving and positioning products throughout the production process

• Ensuring finished products meet required quality standards

• Working efficiently to meet daily production targets

• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work area

• Following all WHS and safety procedures

• Communicating effectively with supervisors and team members

• Performing other general production duties as required

Previous factory or manufacturing experience is highly regarded.

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for someone who:

• Has previous factory, manufacturing or production experience

• Is physically fit and capable of lifting 23kg repeatedly throughout the day

• Has excellent attention to detail

• Takes pride in the quality of their work

• Has a strong work ethic and positive attitude

• Is reliable and punctual

• Is comfortable performing repetitive manual handling tasks

• Works well as part of a team

A Forklift Licence will be highly regarded but is not essential.

To be considered for this position, you must:

• Have your own reliable vehicle and current driver's licence

• Be physically fit and comfortable with repetitive manual handling

• Be available for ongoing Monday to Friday day shift work

• Have full working rights in Australia
