Freedom Motors Australia is a private family owned company. We are the leading vehicle modifier for wheelchair accessibility in Australia.

We are looking for a bright and hardworking individual to be part of the team that modify vehicles for wheelchair access. The position is a permanent, full time position at our premises in St Marys NSW.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Modifying of vehicles like, Kia Carnival and Hyundai Staria

  • Assemble according to specifications.

  • Welding & Fabricating.

  • Working with deadlines.

  • Servicing, repairs, and maintenance work.

  • Maintain a clean and safe working area.

To be successful for the role you must have:

  • AQF Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade or equivalent or relevant experience

  • Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency.

  • Minimum 5 years Welding/ Fabrication experience.

  • Excellent work ethic.

  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.

  • Ability to work autonomously.

  • Must be able to read and interpret assembly manuals.

  • Willing to make overtime.

  • Have a high level of pride of workmanship and attention to detail.

  • High standards of honesty, integrity and professionalism.

Remuneration/ Salary
Salary range from $78,000- $80,000. To be discussed with the successful applicant.
