Engineering Project Management opportunity

Sugden & Gee is a dynamic project management and engineering consultancy based in Hobart, Tasmania. We specialise in providing project management across the full project lifecycle for civil and public infrastructure.

We are seeking senior project managers with technical skills to manage infrastructure projects such as roads, stormwater, water, other civil projects and industrial plant expansions. Candidates should ideally have at least 10 years' experience in project management and would preferably have qualifications or capability in engineering.

This position will require the successful candidate to manage and run projects on behalf of clients with minimal supervision. The role requires the organisation, engagement and supervision of designers, surveyors and contractors. Candidates should therefore be familiar with the compiling of tenders, contract documents and the administration of contracts.  The position requires high skill level in both verbal and written communication to engage with stakeholders for mutual understanding and alignment.

The immediately available role is based in Hobart or the South of the state and would work primarily with clients from local government and public utilities in Tasmania. The successful candidate would be engaged on a casual contract with the flexibility to take on as little or as much work as preferred.

The role requires occasional travel to project sites so candidates must have a full drivers licence.
