THE ROLE

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Heavy Combination (HC) Licensed Truck Driver to join our team, based in Yass, NSW.

This is a hands-on driving role involving the safe and efficient transportation and delivery of goods throughout Yass, Canberra and surrounding regional areas. You will be responsible for ensuring loads are transported safely, on time and in accordance with all road transport and workplace safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate MR (with Hiab) and HC vehicles

• Transport and deliver goods throughout Yass, Canberra and surrounding regions

• Load, unload and secure freight as required

• Complete pre-start vehicle inspections and report any defects

• Ensure loads are secured correctly and transported safely

• Complete delivery paperwork and relevant documentation

• Maintain a high standard of vehicle cleanliness and presentation

• Communicate professionally with customers, suppliers and our team

• Comply with all relevant road transport laws, fatigue management requirements and workplace health and safety procedures

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

• HC licensed with a clean and safe driving history

• Hiab experienced (accreditation is desirable)

• Experienced in heavy vehicle driving and freight transport

• Reliable, punctual and safety-focused

• Physically capable of loading, unloading and handling freight where required

• Comfortable working independently and managing delivery schedules

• Professional and customer-focused

• Able to complete required paperwork and documentation accurately

• Familiar with the Yass, Canberra and surrounding regional areas

• Committed to maintaining vehicles and equipment to a high standard

Previous experience in a similar transport or delivery role will be highly regarded.
