Why this role matters:This Senior UX Designer will play a critical role in shaping how internal users experience interact and use complex back-end trading systems.
Going beyond traditional UX delivery, the focus is on understanding the full journey, identifying pain points and designing practical, scalable solutions that support both users and the organisation’s transformation goals.

Your work will directly influence how strategy becomes reality, ensuring complex change programmes translate into intuitive, accessible and user‑centred outcomes.
What you’ll lead & influence: - Design and improve end‑to‑end user journeys across trading platforms
- Apply user experience design principles to complex transformation initiatives
- Partner closely with product, engineering and business stakeholders
- Advocate for usability, accessibility and inclusive design best practice
- Translate strategic objectives into clear, user‑centred design solutions
- Contribute to shaping design standards and ways of working within a new UX team
- Proven experience as a Senior User Experience Designer, with interaction design experience
- You have worked in a financial services environment, ideally with complex systems comfortable working with graphs & numbers
- Experience working on large‑scale digital platforms or transformation programmes
- Confidence collaborating in cross‑functional, agile environments
- A strong user‑centred mindset, grounded in research and evidence
- Solid understanding of accessibility and usability principles
- The ability to influence, communicate and bring stakeholders on the journey
- Collaborative, multidisciplinary environment with genuine respect for design
- A contract role offering challenge, variety and real impact
- Remote first environment with lots of flexibility
