About the role we have for you!
Our busy metal recycling yard in Onehunga is looking for a digger/material handler operator who has grapple or shear experience or can pick it up. If you like big machines and the power and sound of crushing steel then this is the gig for you! On the day to day, after completing your pre-start checks, you could be shearing metal, loading containers, or filling and operating our bailers to process metals to improve grades for export. All this while making the planet a better place by recycling! Best of all you get to work with our awesome hard-working yard team who enjoy a bit of a laugh while they work.
This is an opportunity to put in the hours for the financial rewards as our team operates on a 100 hour fortnight, 6 days on one week (53 hours) and 5 the next week (47 hours), this also includes working every second Saturday from 7.00 am - 1.00 pm. Oh and did I mention we also have an incentive program where you have the opportunity to earn additional $$ every month on top of your wages!
We also give everyone an extra days leave each year to celebrate their birthday!
