About the role
We are looking for an Assistant Store Manager with a genuine passion for interiors, styling and creating beautiful spaces to join the team in the stunning Hervey Bay location. This is an opportunity for someone who naturally understands how colour, texture, tone and form can transform a space. You will connect with customers, understand their personal style and help bring their vision to life through thoughtful ideas and considered recommendations, while also leading, coaching and developing a passionate team. You will play an important role in creating an inspiring environment where customers feel confident exploring their own style, while supporting the smooth operation of the store through rostering, administration, ordering and maintaining an exceptional level of presentation and attention to detail.
Skills and experience
• Previous retail leadership or management experience is highly regarded
• A genuine passion for interiors, styling, design or visual merchandising
• A strong eye for colour, texture, proportion and presentation
• Confident in building genuine and lasting relationships with customers
• Naturally creative with the ability to understand and interpret individual style
• Strong communication, organisational and leadership skills
• A high level of attention to detail and pride in presentation
• Comfortable working in a hands on retail environment
