JRB Diesel is a growing independent dealership in the Hemmant / Port of Brisbane area with over 20 years of growth and success in Syndey w ehave opened our doors and expanding our footprint in QLD!

JRB Diesel is Sydney's newest service and parts dealer for Mercedes Trucks, Freightliner Trucks and Fuso Trucks!!!

As such an exciting opportunity has arisen to join and lead our growing team! JRB has strong ties with businesses all over Brisbane and Sydney carrying out work from fleet service and repairs to heavy vehicle modifications!

Qualifications & experience

• Trade qualified heavy vehicle mechanic, 

• Previous experience in similar role,

• Ability to lead from the front in a growing team

• Excellent communication skills with external and internal stakeholders

• Set target times and assist teams with achieving them

• HR/HC license preferred, 

• RMS ticket highly desirable, 

• Strong European and Jap truck experience highly desirable.

• Strong trailer experience also highly regarded

• Strong diagnostics and electrical skills

Tasks & responsibilities

• Opening and closing workshop, 

• Overseeing productivity in workshop and monitoring target times.

• Quality control, 

• Road testing.

• Assisting with invoicing

• Allocating work and job times. 

• Working closely with top tier customers to ensure ongoing satisfaction.

• Continuous improvement in work quality and workshop safety. 

• Monitoring and upgrading workshop tooling for efficiencies 

• Training and mentoring service staff.

• Assisting with maintaining supplier relationships
