Residential Development Services Manager

Lead residential development projects from concept to completion.

We are seeking an experienced and commercially focused Residential Development Services Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of residential development projects. This role will play a critical part in managing the development lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, compliantly, and in line with business objectives.

Working closely with internal stakeholders, consultants, contractors, government agencies, and landowners, you will drive project outcomes while identifying opportunities to maximise value and support the continued growth of our residential development portfolio.

About the Role

Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for the management and delivery of residential land development projects, including:

  • Managing residential developments from acquisition through to completion.
  • Coordinating planning approvals, rezoning applications, subdivision approvals, and compliance requirements.
  • Engaging and managing consultants, surveyors, engineers, planners, contractors, and authorities.
  • Monitoring project budgets, feasibility assessments, cash flow forecasts, and financial performance.
  • Managing project programs, milestones, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Supporting land acquisition and due diligence processes.
  • Facilitating stakeholder engagement with councils, utility providers, government agencies, and community groups.
  • Preparing and presenting project reports, recommendations, and updates to senior management.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve project outcomes and maximise return on investment.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Experience in residential property development, land development, civil construction, town planning, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple development projects simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of NSW planning processes, development approvals, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
  • Sound commercial and financial acumen.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Property, Engineering, Town Planning, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline.
