About the Role
Southern Ocean Lodge is seeking a passionate Spa Therapist to deliver exceptional wellness experiences at one of Australia's most celebrated luxury lodge destinations.
Set against the dramatic coastline of Kangaroo Island, Southern Ocean Lodge offers guests a deeply immersive and restorative escape. As Spa Therapist, you will provide a range of treatments in our intimate spa, creating personalised experiences that reflect the natural beauty and tranquillity of the surroundings.
This is a residential role based on Kangaroo Island, with accommodation and meals provided.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering a range of massage, body and facial treatments to the highest standard
- Providing a personalised, attentive experience for each guest
- Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of the spa facilities
- Managing treatment bookings and guest communications with care
- Recommending and retailing spa products where appropriate
- Adhering to health, safety and hygiene protocols at all times
- Supporting the wider lodge team to deliver a seamless guest experience
About You
You are a skilled and caring Spa Therapist with a genuine passion for wellness and guest experience, and a desire to work in a remarkable natural setting.
You will ideally have:
- A Certificate IV or Diploma in Beauty Therapy, Massage or a related discipline
- Experience in a luxury hotel, resort or day spa environment
- Proficiency across a range of massage and body treatment modalities
- A warm, professional manner and strong attention to detail
- Confidence in recommending retail products to guests
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays
- Current Australian working rights
