We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Operations Manager to join our team and take responsibility for the effective day-to-day operation of the business.
This is a key leadership position for someone who enjoys being involved across the business, solving problems, improving systems and processes, supporting customers and staff, and making sure the operation runs efficiently.
You will work closely with the Managing Director and teams across Customer Service, Sales, Accounts & Administration, Warehousing and Service, ensuring everyone has the support, resources and information they need to deliver outstanding results.

About the Role
As Operations Manager, you will oversee a broad range of operational functions:
Key responsibilities include:
Team leadership and staff development
Purchasing and supplier management
Inventory and warehouse management
Logistics and third-party warehouse coordination
Customer service and order management
KPI, budget and profitability management
Process improvement and operational efficiency
Health & Safety and regulatory compliance
Sales, marketing and e-commerce support
What We're Looking For
We are seeking someone who is organised, commercially minded, practical and solutions-focused, with the ability to lead people while also getting involved in the detail when required.
Ideally, you will have:
Proven experience in an operations, logistics, supply chain or similar management role.
Strong leadership and people-management skills.
Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
A strong understanding of purchasing, inventory and warehouse management.
Commercial awareness and the ability to understand costs, margins, budgets and profitability.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
The ability to manage multiple priorities in a demanding environment.
Experience working with suppliers, freight providers and third-party logistics providers.
A commitment to Health & Safety, compliance and operational best practice.
Good computer and systems skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records and reporting.
A willingness to be hands-on and support the wider team when required.
Forklift experience/licence would be advantageous, given the role's involvement with warehouse operations, loading, unloading and stocktakes.
