Yard hand

Plascorp is one of Australia's leading privately owned Manufacturing and Distribution companies specialising in Industrial Ducting, Mine Ventilation, PVC Pipe and Steel re-enforcing solutions.

We are looking for a yard hand to join our team. Apart from having the required skills, we are looking for a hard-working and reliable team player who will fit into our customer focused, 'can do' approach to business.

Responsibilities will include:

• Accurate picking and packing of stock to fulfill orders

• De-nesting pipes / Unloading pipes from containers

• Unpack and sort incoming orders

• Forklift safety

• (40 hour week)

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• Previous experience in a similar position

• LF (basic) forklift licence required

• High level of enthusiasm and initiative

• Good communication skills

• Physically fit

• A positive, 'can-do' attitude and enjoy working proactively as part of a team.

• Australian work rights required for this position

• Must also sucessfully pass a pre employment medical assessment and drug screening prior to starting with Plascorp.
