Worship Coordinator

Worship Coordinator |Part-Time|11.4 hours per week| Graceville, Brisbane

Newlife Graceville Church is a new church plant in Brisbane West, and we’re looking for a passionate Worship Coordinator to help us build a worship culture that is authentic, Jesus-centred and creative.

This is an opportunity to pioneer. You’ll help shape the sound and culture of our worship ministry and build a team while creating an environment where people can encounter God and discover their place in serving.

Working alongside our Location Pastor, you’ll have the opportunity to turn vision into reality as we establish Newlife Graceville and reach people across our local community.

What you’ll be part of

• Building and shaping a worship ministry from the ground up.

• Recruiting, developing, encouraging and empowering a team of musicians, vocalists and creative volunteers.

• Leading worship and helping establish an authentic, God-centred worship culture.

• Planning and coordinating worship for Sunday gatherings.

• Rostering and supporting volunteers so people can serve with confidence and joy.

• Working creatively with the Location Pastor and wider church team to bring the vision of Newlife Graceville to life.

• Developing people through encouragement, discipleship, mentoring and practical opportunities to grow.

• Helping establish the creative and technical foundations of a new church as it grows.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has a genuine passion for Jesus and a heart for worship.

• Has experience leading worship and/or serving in a worship ministry.

• Is confident musically and able to lead others.

• Enjoys building teams and bringing people together.

• Is creative, proactive and excited by the opportunity to build something new.

• Can recruit, develop and empower volunteers.

• Has experience with service planning, production and the practical coordination of worship.

• Is aligned with the mission and values of Newlife.
