What’s the role?
• Deliver primary health care, acute care, and emergency response services
• Provide triage, first aid, stabilisation, and patient evacuation
• Administer medications and vaccinations in line with clinical protocols (CARPA)
• Conduct health checks, screenings, and follow-ups
• Support chronic disease management and preventative health programs
• Work collaboratively with doctors, nurses, and Aboriginal Health Workers
• Participate in an on-call roster
• Mentor and support trainees and junior staff

Is this the right role for you?
• Contribute to clinical reporting and continuous quality improvement (CQI)
• Certificate IV in Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care (Practice)
• (or Certificate III Aboriginal Health Work – Clinical or higher)
• Eligibility for AHPRA registration
• Demonstrated primary health care experience, ideally in a remote setting
• Strong clinical and assessment skills
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
• Experience using health information systems
• Current manual driver’s licence
