Trades Assistant - Electrical

My client is an established manufacturer of high quality Switchboards and Switch Room, with applications as diverse as water, industrial projects and mining.

Working from a state of the art advanced manufacturing facility in Yatala, with a strong pipeline of committed work and genuine temp to perm opportunities there has never been a better time to join this group.

What You’ll Be Working On:

You’ll play a key role in the assembly and manufacture of high-quality LV switchboards and control systems for major industry projects across Australia.

Skills required:

• Assembly and wiring of LV switchboards and control panels
• Or proven experience in LV, HV Switchrooms or substations.
• Reading and interpreting electrical schematics
• Modular switchboard construction (CUBIC, Elsteel)
• Wiring MCCs, PLC Panels, Distribution Boards and Control Panels
• Problem solving skills

Qualifications and attributes required:

• Electrical trades assistant experience 
• candidates who are fully qualified in another country or part qualified in Australia are highly desirable. 
• Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
• Team-focused attitude with the ability to work autonomously
• Must have own insulated hand tools
• Day and afternoon shifts available.
