We’re known for using cutting-edge tech and building strong client relationships across WA’s rail, road, and infrastructure sectors.


We’re currently seeking a Survey Assistant to join our growing team. This is ideal for someone currently studying surveying, recently graduated, or simply looking to get started in a dynamic and rewarding career. You’ll work alongside experienced surveyors to support major rail projects, while learning to use some of the industry’s most advanced survey equipment and techniques.

Job Requirements

To succeed in this role, you’ll share our values of Safety, People, Excellence and Integrity, and bring:

  • A Construction Induction (White) Card

  • A current C Class Driver’s Licence

  • Ability to pass a Category 3 Rail Medical and drug & alcohol screening

  • First Aid certificate (or willingness to obtain)

  • Willingness to work FIFO from Perth on 12-hour day or night shifts

  • Basic computer literacy (Excel, Outlook, Teams/SharePoint)

  • Strong communication and a team-focused attitude

  • Physically fit and able to work in hot, remote environments

  • Survey or civil construction experience desirable, but not essential



Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in the collection of accurate survey data for rail and civil projects

  • Learn to operate Total Stations, GPS receivers, digital levels & Trimble GEDO rail gear

  • Support control installation using GNSS, traversing and digital levelling methods

  • Conduct basic rail/civil setout tasks under supervision

  • Ensure safe work practices and PPE compliance in all environments

  • Attend daily pre-starts and contribute to a positive safety culture

  • Maintain and organise survey equipment and vehicles

  • Complete documentation and follow site communication protocols

  • Commit to ongoing training and development in survey procedures and rail safety
