Project Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a high-profile renovation and fit out project based close to the Sydney CBD.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on the transformation of a heritage-listed building, requiring a Project Manager with strong commercial fit out experience and a genuine understanding of the complexities that come with working within heritage environments.

Working on-site, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of the project, coordinating trades, subcontractors, consultants and stakeholders to ensure the project is delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing the day-to-day delivery of the renovation and fit out works
• Coordinating subcontractors, trades and consultants on-site
• Managing programme, quality, safety and project milestones
• Working closely with the client and project stakeholders
• Identifying and resolving project issues as they arise
• Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with project requirements and heritage considerations
• Maintaining strong communication across all project stakeholders

We are looking for a hands-on Project Manager who is comfortable being site-based and taking ownership of project delivery.

You will ideally have:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager within commercial projects ideally refurbishment / fit out
• Previous experience working on heritage buildings / heritage renovations is highly desirable
• Strong subcontractor and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent understanding of construction programmes, quality and site delivery
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A proactive approach with the ability to manage challenges independently
