Poultry Industry Opportunities – Multiple Positions Available

Range Workforce Solutions is currently seeking reliable, hardworking, and committed candidates to join our clients across the poultry industry. We have ongoing opportunities available in Poultry Processing & Production, Poultry Farm Operations, and Poultry Hatcheries.

Positions Available

Poultry Processing & Production

• Processing and packing poultry products

• Quality checking and grading

• Labelling and preparing products for dispatch

• Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards

• Working in a fast-paced production environment

• Working in a cold environment (below 5°C)

• Must be comfortable handling raw chicken products

Poultry Farm Hand

• Collecting eggs and monitoring bird welfare

• Feeding and watering birds

• Cleaning sheds and equipment

• General farm maintenance

• Assisting with daily farm operations

• Comfortable working in poultry sheds

• Must be willing to handle, pick up, and remove sick or deceased chickens in accordance with animal welfare procedures

Poultry Hatchery Hand

• Working across multiple hatchery departments including the Transfer Room, Egg Room, and other hatchery operations

• Handling eggs and day-old chicks

• Grading, counting, and preparing chicks

• Cleaning and sanitising hatchery equipment

• Assisting with hatchery operations and daily tasks

• Supporting hatchery drivers with farm deliveries

• Loading and unloading chicks and equipment

• Preparing deliveries to farms

• Maintaining strict hygiene and biosecurity standards

Essential Requirements

• Must currently be living in Australia.

• Must be available to work any day between Monday and Sunday.

• Physically fit and capable of repetitive manual work.

• Able to pass a pre-employment medical and physical assessment.

• Comfortable working in production, hatchery, or farm environments.

• Must be willing to shower on and shower off site each day as part of strict biosecurity procedures.

• Strong work ethic with a commitment to safety and reliability.

Biosecurity Requirements

To protect the health of our poultry flocks, strict biosecurity measures apply to all farm and hatchery positions.

Applicants must:

• Have a current driver's licence and reliable vehicle due to no public transport 

• Not own or keep chickens, birds, ducks, turkeys, pigs, or other poultry/livestock at home.

• Not live with anyone who works on another poultry or pig farm.

• Be willing to follow all site biosecurity procedures, including showering on and off site, changing into site-provided PPE and clothing, and complying with all hygiene requirements.

• Report any recent contact with poultry, livestock, bird sanctuaries, wildlife parks, or commercial poultry farms if requested.

• These roles are only available to candidates currently living in Australia.
