We're looking for a dynamic Branch Manager to lead our team, drive sales, and energize our customer experience. We’re a family-owned company and love what we do!

As our Wiri Branch Manager, you’ll be the heartbeat of our branch operations. You’ll lead a passionate team, optimize store performance, and implement strategies to boost sales across all categories.

Having influence over our network and operation, this position would suit a self-motivated individual with strong business acumen who can drive the business and demonstrate great leadership qualities. A genuine care for team members and supporting them to succeed is important.

We can teach you everything about batteries but would expect you to have strong people management, customer relationship experience and able to grow sales - this is vital for you to succeed in this role!

Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm (42.5-hour week)

About the Role:

• 2 nights away per month

• Build relationships with customers & Drive sales growth

• Lead, coach and mentor a team of 9 warehouse and sales staff

• Operational management of branch, including debtor control and stocktakes

• Manage effective stock control (FIFO) to minimize aged stock

• Ensure customer experience is positive, leading to new opportunities and repeat business.

About YOU

• Minimum 2 years' experience in customer relationship

• Sales driven mindset with a knack for hitting targets

• Capable and competent with managing administrative tasks, sales reports, stocktakes etc

• Strong commercial abilities accompanied by the financial discipline to oversee the efficient and profitable operation of the branch

• Values workplace safety and puts it first

• Able to build relationship with customers and branch team to excel

• Well-developed interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills

• Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting, including some repetitive lifting (25kg+)
